MONDAY A leisurely departure as we travel north
through the borders with visits on route arriving at the Duke of
Gordon Hotel, in Kingussie in time to relax before for dinner. |

TUESDAY Today we travel to Fort William and join
the nostalgic steam hauled West Highland Line. The Jacobite Steam
train is one of Europe’s most popular train journeys, absorbing Loch
Eil, the Caledonian Canal, Glenfinnan Viaduct & Monument and Loch
Morar – Scotland’s deepest loch.Absorb the beautiful views of Eigg,
Muck & Rhum on this |

two hour
journey. After free time for lunch in the fishing town
of Mallaig we return via coach making stops at
Glenfinnan and Spean Bridge. WEDNESDAY
A wonderful day as we travel via ‘The Road to the Isles’
to the Kyle of Lochalsh. On arrival we cross the Skye
Road Bridge onto The Isle of Skye before returning
to Lochalsh for free time for lunch before joining the
train |

| to Inverness. A wonderful rail journey
passing moorlands and mountain regions, quoted by
Michael Palin as being one of the most beautiful rail
journeys in Europe. On arrival in Inverness and after
some free time we rejoin our coach and travel back to
Kingussie. |

| THURSDAY A
relaxing day in the Spey Valley as we take a leisurely
drive to Aviemore and board the Strathspey Steam train
and travel fromAviemore to Broomhill – most famously
known as Glenbogle in the popular “Monarch of the
Glen”TV series. Hauled by steam the 45 minute journey
passes through Boat of Garten.Afterwards we continue on
our journey to the Glenfiddich whiskey distillery where
we have a guided tour and a wee dram arranged. Later,
free time in Grantown on Spey before returning to our
hotel to relax before our final Scottish dinner with
Scottish entertainment. |
| FRIDAY After
breakfast sadly it’s time to depart and travel home.With
comfort breaks on route we arrive home late afternoon. |
