| SUNDAY
We depart our local area and make our way north with comfort
breaks on route, arriving at our hotel in plenty of time to
relax before dinner. |

| MONDAY
After a leisurely Scottish breakfast we take a short journey
through the glorious Trossachs to Loch Katrine. Take your
seat on the 100 year old steamship Sir Walter Scott |

with the beauty of the loch unfolding before you, which inspired Sir
Walter Scott to write his famous poem .As you travel, the tales and
legends of the loch will be narrated by a crew member. Afterwards
continue on to Callender before returning to the hotel in time for
dinner and entertainment. |

TUESDAY A wonderful day as we travel to the Falkirk
Wheel, one of Scotland’s top attractions. Our time here will involve
a trip on the boat to experience the only rotating boat lift in the
world, joining the Union Canal. In the afternoon we continue towards
Edinburgh and take a cruise under the famous Forth Bridges and out
towards Inchcolm Island to view the various wildlife including
seals, dolphins and puffins. |

WEDNESDAY A spectacular day out today – first a
trip to Loch Lomond, the “Queen of Scottish Lochs”, before turning
off to Arrochar with its dramatic mountain backdrop, known as
the Arrochar Alps. Continuing along the shoreline of Loch Fyne,
Loch Eck and the famous Holy Loch to Dunoon,with free time for
lunch.Afterwards we take the ferry across the Firth to Gourock,
returning to our hotel over the River Clyde’s Erskine Bridge. |

THURSDAY After breakfast, we start our journey
home, with comfort breaks on route. |

DAY 1
We depart the TyneValley and
travel north over the border into Scotland making a
short break at Moffat before continuing onto Stirling
for a short visit over lunch.We then continue onto our
hotel in the village of Kingussie. |
| DAY
2 A full day excursion takes us north to the
“Capital of the Highlands”, Inverness, situated on the
Moray Firth as it enters the Great Glen. Inverness is
the commercial hub of the Scottish Highlands. |
| DAY
3 A full day excursion takes us past the scenic
Loch Laggan, used in the popular TV series, Monarch of
the Glen, and onto Fort William on the edge of Loch
Lochy. |
| DAY
4 Today we travel to the top of the Cairngorm
Mountains for spectacular views over this majestic
range. Time at the top to allow an optional ascent on
the mountain railway where there is always a chance to
view Scotland’s only herd of Reindeer. We return via the
small resort of Aviemore. |

DAY 5
Sadly we leave the Scottish Highlands and return to the
Tyne Valley via The Forth Bridge and Jedburgh arriving
back in the early evening. |
