| ITINERARY |
| THURSDAY
A leisurely start to our holiday as we depart our local area mid
morning and travel to the port of Hull with a lunch break on route
before embarking on our overnight North Sea Ferries cruise-ferry to
Rotterdam and the continent. All cabins have been upgraded to
outside cabins with two low floor beds. (please note single cabins
are inside cabins). Full buffet dinner and breakfasts are included
on our return sailings. Relax and enjoy the ship’s entertainment and
facilities as you cruise to mainland Europe. |
| FRIDAY
After breakfast on board ship we disembark and travel through
Holland and into Germany where we travel through the magnificent
Rhine Valley and Gorge, a wonderful drive through pretty towns
dominated by picturesque hillside castles overlooking the river.We
break for lunch in one of the popular tourist towns before
continuing on to our overnight destination in Karlsruhe where buffet
dinner will be served. |
| SATURDAY Continuing our journey
through Germany and intoAustria,we visit the world famous city of
Salzburg.Arriving early afternoon, enjoy some free time in this
wonderful city having a late lunch, sightseeing or just relaxing in
the beautiful Mirabell Gardens before continuing our journey onto
Steyr our base for 5 nights. |

to Wednesday: Whilst in resort we have included
the following excursions: |

Relaxing day
starting with a trip on Austria’s oldest
narrow track historic steam railway, as
we travel the 17km journey from the
romantic town of Steyr to Steinbach
passing through beautiful woods and
meadows and along the Steyr River.This
afternoon we travel onto the town of
Melk, set on the River Danube and
towered over by the magnificent Melk
Abbey. After free time for lunch we
enjoy a wonderful guided visit of Melk
Abbey including the abbey, museum,
marble hall and church. |

excursion in the Austrian Lake District,
one of the most picturesque regions of
the world. |

Our
journey takes us along Lake Traunsee to
LakeWolfgansee where we enjoy a boat
trip across the Lake to the picture
postcard town of St Wolfgang. Later this
afternoon we return via Lake Mondsee,
the setting of the church in the Sound
of Music. |

A fascinating day as we travel over
the border into the South Bohemian
Region of the Czech Republic. Our
destination is the UnescoWorld Heritage
town of Cesky Krumlov, a wonderful
medieval historic town best known for
its fine architecture and art, with
narrow cobbled streets and Cesky Krumlov
Castle. |

THURSDAY Sadly
we say goodbye to our hosts this morning and travel back
into Germany arriving in the picturesque town
ofWurzburg early afternoon.After check in at our hotel
enjoy an afternoon at leisure in the historic old town
ofWurzburg at the foot of the Marienberg Fortress set on
the banks of the Main River. Later this evening we
include a 3 course buffet dinner. |
| FRIDAY After a
leisurely breakfast we continue our journey to the port
of Rotterdam to join our North Sea Ferries sailing back
to England. On route we break for lunch in one of
Germany’s towns and cities. Cabins and meals on board as
per outward journey. |
| SATURDAY On
arrival back into Hull we take a leisurely drive home
breaking for lunch before arriving into to
Northumberland around mid-afternoon. |
