Join us on this 4 day city break
to the cosmopolitan city of Brussels with the opportunity to
viewthemagnificent Carpet of Flowers. A million begonias
for... one single carpet? This is certainly an extraordinary
achievement. The famous Carpet of Flowers covers 1,800m²
right in the centre of the Grand Place in the centre of
Brussels and happens every two years..These flowers offer
awide range of vivid and glowing colours and have to be seen
to be believed.The colourful plant tapestry can be admired
best from the balcony of the City Hall, which is open to the
public for the occasion. |

| ITINERARY |
| MONDAY An early morning
departure sees us travelling to the south coast to join our
Eurotunnel crossing to mainland Europe. On arrival in Calais we
continue our journey onto the city of Brussels and check into the
Crowne Plaza Brussels for two nights’ bed and breakfast. |
| TUESDAY After a leisurely breakfast join us for
a wonderful 3 hour city tour by coach and on foot of this historic
city. Remainder of day at leisure. |

| WEDNESDAY
Morning and lunch at leisure with the opportunity to
visit the Carpet of Flowers set in the Grand Place,
before departing Brussels mid afternoon to travel to the
port of Zeebrugge. This evening we join our overnight
sailing to Hull on board North Sea Ferries.Whilst on
board all accommodation is provided in special outside
cabins with two low berth beds (single cabins are inside
cabins) and buffet dinner and breakfast are included.
Relax and enjoy the ship’s entertainment and facilities
as you cruise home to the UK. |
| THURSDAY After
leaving our ship we travel into the City of York,where we
have free time for lunch and sightseeing before
departing mid afternoon to make our way home. |
