This exhibition brings together
some of the finest treasures from The Royal Collection to
celebrate her majesty’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012 and reflects
the taste of the monarchs and other members of the royal
family. This 2 day break is based at The Barcelo Edinburgh
Carleton
 situated
on the north bridge overlooking the Royal Mile and minutes
away from Princes Street and the legendary Edinburgh Castle. |
| Thurs: We depart our local area
and travel north with comfort stops on route. On
arrival in Edinburgh we visit the Queens Gallery
where the current exhibition is Royal Treasures, a
diamond Jubilee Celebration. Later this afternoon we
check into The Carlton Hotel where dinner is
included. |
Fri: After
leisurely breakfast we visit the National Portrait
Gallery, home to Scotland’s national collection.
Following free time for lunch and sightseeing, we
travel home with comfort breaks on route.

After dinner, the music and dancing begins, with
Frank McCaffrey, the multi-award winning entertainer
from County Mayo. This is followed by The Indians
Showband, who will delight you with their own brand
of Country, Irish and Showband hits from decades
past.
Sat –After
a leisurely breakfast you have free time to explore
Blackpool and have lunch before returning for
afternoon entertainment from The Farmer Dan Comedy
and
Country Show. Time to relax and freshen up before
dinner then after dinner in the hotel, the famous
Barry Doyle and his Band will take to the stage,
followed by Jason McGilligan and his Band, who are
sure to have you dancing and singing along. |
Sun –After leisurely breakfast
enjoy a relaxing morning - perhaps take a walk along
the promenade to unwind after the fun weekend then
tuck into an included Sunday lunch at the hotel,
